Stephan GroßM. Sc.
Stephan Gross was employed as a research associate at the institute from June 2015 to November 2020.
From 2017, Mr. Gross took over the responsibility for integrating cloud services into the IT infrastructure of the E.ON ERC.
From the beginning of 2019, he led the team "Energy Management Systems and Data Analytics".
His research areas at the institute included cloud computing in the field of smart grids, co-simulation for energy supply systems, Big Data analyses of flexibility demand at different system levels and smart metering system with focus on the development of the "Smart Meter Gateway" (SMGW) in Germany.
In the context of his dissertation, he deals with the question how the rollout of smart metering systems in Germany and Europe impacts demand response scenarios.
