Carlo Guarnieri Calò Carducci wurde 1983 in Bari (Italien) geboren. Er erhielt seinen M.Sc. Abschluss (summa cum laude) in Elektrotechnik an der Polytechnikum Bari (Bari, Italien), in 2013 und den Doktortitel (summa cum laude) an der Fakultät für Elektro- und Informationstechnik.

2017 wechselte er zum Institute for Automation of Complex Power Systems (ACS) am E.ON Energy Research Center der RWTH Aachen University (Deutschland), wo er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Team "Distribution Grid Monitoring and Automation" arbeitete. Er ist Mitglied der IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society.
