Fields of activity

Christian Vering investigates refrigerant circuits of heat pump heating systems regarding the use of non-halogenated refrigerants. Dynamic simulations allow the design and assessment of these circuits resulting in optimization problems, which are simplified by multi criteria analysis and mathematically solved subsequently. Static and dynamic Hardware-in-the-Loop experiments validate simulation results. For further information, please refer to ResearchGate.

CV

Christian Vering studied Mechanical Engineering from October 2010 to June 2016 at RWTH Aachen University. Hereby, during his master’s studies, he focused on Renewable Energy Engineering. Doing a six-month internship at Porsche AG, he investigated heat management strategies of recreational vehicles. During his studies, Christian worked seven semester as student assistant at the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics in education and research. After completing his studies, he took up his position as a research associate at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate.
