Development of Energetic, Ecological and Economical Performance Indicators for Multiple Buildings - Exemplary Application for ’Forschungszentrum Jülich’

The EBC is currently developing a tool for planning, accounting and optimizing the renovation of buildings and power
supply. For testing the integrated process of planning, the tool needs to be calibrated and verified.
This verification is done by the comparison with real measurement data of the research center in
Jülich. The actual tool only allows the evaluation of renovations by energy demand. To expand the
consideration of ecological and economic performance indicators the tool has to be enlarged
by a new program. For this propose three different actual used procedures are examined and rated
by its use for the given tool. The obtained data are included in the code of the tool, to make
it possible to evaluate the economic and ecological effects of part renovations and power supply
retrofitting. With this tool the Campus Jülich is tested by finding an efficient renovation order
of all buildings and getting a beneficial configuration of power supply concerning ecological and
economical aspects.
